What to set up, what to check in on, and how to use the printable side of things.
Sign up, then add a profile for each child — or claim results from a free diagnostic they've already taken.
Strengths, weaker skills and a recommended next activity, at a glance.
Generate a worksheet with an answer key for offline practice, in the car, or on a screen-free evening.
One subscription covers Grasp English and Grasp Maths, managed through Stripe from the account area.
You don't have to open every session for them. Reveal a family code and PIN once, and your child can sign in and practise by themselves from then on — every result still lands in the same dashboard you check.
On your child's row in "Your children," click the key icon. A family code and a 4-digit PIN appear — shown once, so write them down.
At graspenglish.com/school/join, they enter the family code, tap their name, then their PIN. The same page a school pupil already uses — no separate app.
Add that page to their device's home screen (Share → Add to Home Screen on iOS, ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen on Android) and it opens like their own icon from then on.
Strengths, weaker skills, a recommended next activity, and a sticker book that fills in as real skills get mastered — grey until it's unlocked.
Every worksheet comes with an answer key. Useful for handwriting practice, screen-free evenings, or backing up what's been covered online.
Extended GCSE writing (essays, analysis paragraphs) can't be marked right-or-wrong the way a grammar question can. Instead, your child writes an answer, then compares it themselves against a weak / improving / strong model and a self-check list — worth knowing so a missing "score" for that section isn't a surprise.
Tick "Prepare for 11+ entrance exam" when you add or edit your child's profile, and their practice switches to 11+ content: over 1,800 words of synonym, antonym and definition practice, plus jumbled-sentence questions ("which word doesn't belong"). Real 11+ strategy lessons — letter codes, word relationships and analogies, odd-one-out, cloze passages and more — sit under Learn alongside the practice questions.
Every account starts on Free Starter — no card needed. Parent Pro adds a 4-week free trial, then £14.99/mo (or £129/yr), and covers Grasp Maths too under the same subscription.
